Our Mission

We want to create environments of encounter, where people can draw close to God, experience restoration, and become fully alive. We believe that life deserves to be lived with passion and purpose, infused with love and with the freedom to be who God created us to be so as to make a gift of ourselves to the world. Life Restoration desires to provide the means for change, growth, and joy through human and spiritual formation, workshop presentations, retreat facilitation, and music ministry.

The following quotes speak to our mission:

The thing the church needs most today is the ability to heal wounds and to warm the hearts of the faithful; it needs nearness, proximity.” - Pope Francis

“The focus of the New Evangelization calls all Catholics to be evangelized and then go forth to evangelize. In a special way, the New Evangelization is focused on 're-proposing' the Gospel to those who have experienced a crisis of faith” - United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

"I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them" - Pope Francis

Jake has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Catechetics. Jake also offers vitalizing workshops and retreats on a variety of topics. Jake is currently on sabbatical from his counseling practice.

Heather is an established speaker and worship leader with over 20 years of experience. She attended Franciscan University of Steubenville where she studied Theology with a concentration in Catechetics and met her husband Jake. Currently, Heather speaks on a variety of topics, leads conferences, retreats, women’s ministry and has a new podcast called Abiding Together. Her passion is in evangelization, discipleship, and creating an environment for people to have a personal encounter with God.

We have both been blessed to discover, learn, and experience many amazing things that have impacted us, helped us grow, and allowed us to live in greater freedom. We desire to help others experience what has restored our lives and led us into deeper relationship with God.
